1 Injured in Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near A Street
Hayward, California (August 6, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that occurred in Hayward on Thursday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the southbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near A Street at about 5:58 p.m. August 5.
A silver sedan and a second vehicle were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately established.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
