Elderly Man Killed in Car Accident on Victoria Avenue near Wooley Road in Oxnard
Oxnard, California (October 19, 2021) – Patrick J. Farrell, 84, has been identified by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office as the elderly man who was killed in a car accident in Oxnard on Monday morning.
The Oxnard Police Department said a 2001 BMW 330i was heading south on Victoria Avenue when it collided with a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was trying to cross the street eastbound.

Farrell was driving the Jeep and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
The accident happened at around 11:06 a.m. October 18.
The second driver, a 20-year-old Oxnard man, was also taken to VCMC with moderate injuries.
 The Oxnard Police Department is conducting an investigation into the wreck.
