According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:35 a.m. on Olde Highway 80 near Snow View Drive.
Two vehicles, possibly a white Kia and a Toyota Camry, were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
At least one person was hurt in the collision and was rushed to an area hospital in unknown condition.
