980 Freeway

I-980 is one of the shortest highways in CA. It’s a 2 mile
stretch of highway in Oakland that connects I-580 and SR 24 to the I-880 just
outside of Downtown Oakland. This short stretch is the dividing line between
Downtown and West Oakland. It’s also called Interstate 980 or the 980 Freeway.
