Woman Killed in Hesperia Pedestrian Accident at Second Avenue and Bear Valley Road

Hesperia, California (April 25, 2023) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Monday night in Hesperia.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Second Avenue and Bear Valley Road at around 11:15 p.m.

The woman was reportedly crossing Bear Valley Road and was struck by an eastbound Lexus I-250 driven by 52-year-old Jose Elizalda, of Hesperia.

The unidentified woman was killed in the accident.

The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Authorities say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
