Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle at Main Street and Ashland Avenue in Santa Monica

Santa Monica, California (August 7, 2021) – A woman died after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Monica early Saturday morning.

The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened in the area of Main Street and Ashland Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman was walking in the area and was hit by a vehicle.

The woman was transported to an area where she died while undergoing treatment.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
