San Cruz, CA – A woman was killed Friday morning in a car accident in San Cruz, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident happened around 11:26 a.m. on August 22 on northbound State Route 17 north of Jarvis Road.
CHP said a woman was driving a sedan when she struck the center median barrier, veered toward the eastbound shoulder, and hit a metal guardrail.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
