A 60-year-old woman was reportedly driving a Chevrolet northbound on Live Oak Boulevard when she tried to overtake other vehicles and collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota
Sutter County, CA.- A woman was killed in a collision that took place in Sutter County on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on Live Oak Boulevard near Rednall Road at about 9:50 a.m. April 20.
A 60-year-old woman was reportedly driving a Chevrolet northbound on Live Oak Boulevard when she tried to overtake other vehicles and collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota.
The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Toyota driver, a 51-year-old, was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
