According to the CHP, an Acura SUV was traveling northbound on Highway 101 when it crashed into the rear of a Toyota SUV

Palo Alto, CA.- A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in East Palo Alto on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened on Highway 101, just south of University Avenue at about 2 a.m. August 10.
According to the CHP, an Acura SUV was traveling northbound on Highway 101 when it crashed into the rear of a Toyota SUV.
A white Subaru SUV then crashed into the Toyota, before leaving the roadway and striking the concrete center median.
A fourth vehicle, a BMW sedan was also caught up in the pileup.
The woman driving the Subaru died in the crash.
The Toyota driver and a passenger in the vehicle were transported to Stanford Hospital with major injuries.
The drivers of the Acura and the BMW were also taken to Stanford with minor injuries.
The adult male driver of the Acura was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
