Woman Seriously Injured in Crash on Avenue 11 and Road 33 ½ in Merced County

Merced County, California (February 14, 2023) – A woman was seriously injured in a Merced County crash on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The major injury accident occurred at about 9:00 a.m. Avenue 11 and Road 33 ½.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving eastbound in a Toyota Camry when she failed to stop at a stop sign.

Unfortunately, a Chevy pickup truck reportedly struck the woman’s vehicle.

The woman was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Chevy complained of pain.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
