Woman Killed, Child Injured in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident at Ogden and Colgate

Los Angeles, California (April 25, 2023) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident that left a young girl injured in Mid-Wilshire on Tuesday morning.

The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened in the area of Ogden Drive and Colgate Avenue near Hancock Park Elementary School at around 8 a.m.

The 35-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl were walking in the area and were hit by a car. The vehicle then crashed into a two-story apartment building after the collision.

The unidentified woman died at the scene.

The girl was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver, identified as a 30-year-old man, was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
