At Least 3 Persons Hospitalized After Hesperia Car Accident at Eleventh Avenue and Sycamore Street

Hesperia, California (February 9, 2023) – At least three people were injured when two minivans collided Wednesday morning in Hesperia, as per a local news source.

The wreck was reported at about 9:35 a.m. at Eleventh Avenue and Sycamore Street.

Police said two minivans collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances. Both vehicles went off the roadway and crashed through the chain link fence of the corner home.

San Bernardino County firefighters responded to the scene and found a woman trapped in one of the vans.

The firefighters freed the victim and requested a helicopter to respond and transport her to the hospital. The woman was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in an unknown condition.

At least two other persons were hospitalized with less severe wounds.

The Hesperia Police Department is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
