Winchester, CA – The Riverside County Sheriff's Office has identified the motorcyclist who was killed after colliding with farm tractor at an intersection in Winchester on Thursday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office identified the victim as 67-year-old Walter Salman of Hemet CA.
The deadly accident happened at about 2:05 p.m. on April 10 at the at the intersection of Domenigoni Pkwy and Leon Road.
Salman was pronounced dead at the scene at about 2:19 p.m.
The Backstory
Winchester, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in a Thursday afternoon traffic collision at Leon Road in Winchester.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at around 2 p.m. at Leon Road and Domenigoni Parkway.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a farm tractor for unknown reasons.
The unidentified motorcyclist died at the scene.
The intersection was partially closed as investigators worked to determine the cause of the collision.
An investigation is underway.
