The crash is believed to have happened on August 19 on Mount Emma Road just east of Angeles Forest Highway.

Acton, CA. – The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner identified one of the two people who died in a car collision about ten days ago in Acton as 30-year-old Richard Ulloa.
The crash is believed to have happened on August 19 on Mount Emma Road just east of Angeles Forest Highway.
California Highway Patrol Antelope Area officers were called around 8:25 a.m. Sunday August 24 to the area where they found a 2004 Toyota Corolla and another car crashed into a ravine.
Ulloa and another person were found dead inside the Toyota.
Both victims had been reported missing by family members, who were “actively searching canyon roads in the area.”
Authorities initially believed the two vehicles had collided, but further investigation suggested that each car was involved in a separate solo crash.
On August 24, investigators noticed physical evidence consistent with a vehicle leaving the roadway. The officers also obtained video evidence from the registered owner of the other car found near the Toyota, confirming that the two collisions were not related.
Authorities are collecting more information that will help in determining what transpired leading to the incidents.
