Winchester, WA – The Washington State Patrol has identified an Ephrata man killed in a crash involving a big rig in Winchester, Thursday afternoon, as 49-year-old Joshua A. Julien.
Julien died after a crash that happened on November 13, 2025, just before 2 p.m. on Highway 28.
Reports revealed that the driver's truck failed to yield to Julien's car, and she slammed into the trailer of the truck.
Julien was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information about the accident was available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Winchester, WA.- Authorities are investigating a deadly big rig collision that occurred near Winchester on Thursday.
According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened on Highway 28.
The crash was between a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle. The circumstances under which the vehicles collided remained under investigation.
The WSP said at least one person was killed in the crash.
The eastbound side of the highway was shut down following the accident.
The WSP is working to determine the cause of the crash.
