Jeffry Bowes Killed in Pasco Crash on U.S. 395
Pasco, Washington (June 28, 2023) – Jeffry L. Bowes, 71, of Cheney, was among two people who died in a traffic collision on Tuesday afternoon in Pasco, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck took place on U.S. 395 and Crestloch Road at around 2:57 p.m. June 27.
WSP said Jeffry Bowes was driving a pickup truck pulling a trailer south on U.S. 395 when he failed to yield and was hit by a northbound pickup that was also pulling a trailer.
Bowes was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
A passenger in his vehicle, Debora L. Bowes, 66, of Cheney, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, Daniel M. Gomez, 20, of Sunnyside, was unhurt.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
