LAPD Motorcycle Officer Among 2 Injured in South Los Angeles Crash on Harbor Freeway near Glenn Anderson Freeway

South Los Angeles, California (July 28, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening multi-vehicle accident that injured two people, including a Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer in South Los Angeles.

The crash occurred at about 8:05 p.m. on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway near the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway.

According to the officials, several vehicles collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances. The collision caused the officer to be knocked off his motorcycle and possibly strike the freeway’s center divider.

The officer and another person were injured in the accident and hospitalized for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
