1 Injured in Central Los Angeles Collision on 5 Freeway near Colorado Blvd

Los Angeles, California (May 13, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a collision on Thursday morning in Central Los Angeles.

The accident was reported at around 10:46 a.m. on southbound 5 Freeway near Colorado Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two vehicles including a black Dodge Charger belonging to the LAPD were involved in the crash.  The circumstances of the collision, however, were not immediately established.

One person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was hospitalized.

Additional information about the crash was not provided.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
