Ulises Gonzalez Killed in Fontana Accident on Mulberry Avenue 

Fontana, California (February 1, 2023) – Ulises Gonzalez, 21, of Fontana, was killed in a collision with a big rig in Fontana on Monday afternoon, according to the authorities.

The wreck took place at around 1:14 p.m. January 30, in the 11160 block of Mulberry Avenue.

Police said the driver of a tractor-trailer was parked on the west side of Mulberry Avenue when the driver made an illegal U-turn and was struck by a southbound Honda Civic.

Gonzalez was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Civic was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the big rig stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The investigation is ongoing.
