According to DPS, a Dodge Ram 3500 truck pulling a trailer with three vehicles aboard drifted off the highway and slammed into a trooper's cruiser parked along the roadway
Buckeye, AZ.- A trooper was injured in a crash in Buckeye on Wednesday evening, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident took place on I-10 near Watson Road at about 7:30 p.m. April 2.
According to DPS, a Dodge Ram 3500 truck pulling a trailer with three vehicles aboard drifted off the highway and slammed into a trooper's cruiser parked along the roadway.
The trooper was taken to a hospital with suspected head injuries.
The operator of the truck was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
