Trey King Hurt in Fatal Marin County Accident on Highway 101

Marin County, California (April 24, 2023) – Trey King, 30, of Novato, was injured in a deadly wrong-way collision in Marin County on Saturday morning, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened on Highway 101, just north of the 580 interchange, at about 3:30 a.m. April 22.

Authorities said a pickup truck was traveling north on southbound Highway 101 when it collided head-on with an oncoming black BMW.

The driver of the pickup, a 22-year-old Santa Rosa man, was killed in the crash.

The operator of the BMW, identified as Trey King, was taken to Marin General Hospital with major injuries.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision.
