Claremont, CA.- The woman who was killed in a crash between two vehicles in Claremont on Saturday morning has been identified as Tracy Willis, 65, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck happened on the Foothill (210) Freeway west of Monte Vista Avenue at around 8 a.m. September 6.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a brown Mini Cooper that had been traveling eastbound on the freeway became disabled and was parked along the right shoulder of the freeway.
A white Ford Focus sedan drifted into the right shoulder and crashed into the back of the stalled vehicle.
Willis, who was driving the Ford, was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 8:25 a.m.
No other injuries were reported.
At least two eastbound lanes of the freeway were shut down for nearly one hour as authorities investigated the incident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
