Police believe Silva was walking across the roadway mid-block when she was hit by a vehicle

Phoenix, AZ.- The woman who was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in Phoenix on Sunday night has been identified as Tracey Ann Silva, 44, according to a report by the Phoenix Police Department.
The accident took place near I-17 and Glendale Avenue at around 11 p.m. August 17.
Police and firefighters responded to reports of a woman down in the roadway after being hit by a vehicle.
Police believe Silva was walking across the roadway mid-block when she was hit by a vehicle.
The Phoenix Fire Department performed life-saving measures on Silva but she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.
The crash remains under investigation.
