Klamath County, OR – The Oregon State Police has identified a motorcycle rider that was killed in a traffic collision early Saturday morning on Highway 58 in Klamath County as Terryl Thomas Ball, 47, of Crescent Lake Junction.
The deadly wreck was reported on State Route 58 at Crescent Lake Highway at around 12:23 a.m. on May 3.
A preliminary investigation revealed a northbound Yamaha TW200 motorcycle driven by Ball entered Highway 58 from Crescent Lake Highway and struck the side of a westbound Freightliner commercial motor vehicle and trailer operated by Hattan Seraj Alotaibi, 32, of Clackamas.
Ball was declared dead at the scene. Alotaibi sustained no injuries in the accident.
The highway was impacted for approximately two and half hours during the on-scene investigation.
An investigation is underway.
