Elderly Woman Killed in Los Angeles Crash on Roscoe Boulevard and Woodley Avenue

Los Angeles, California (May 13, 2022) – An elderly woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving a Los Angeles City Fire Department fire truck early Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The wreck happened on Roscoe Boulevard and Woodley Avenue at around midnight.

According to police, a driver reportedly failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and collided with a vehicle.

The driver then continued heading east and collided with two other vehicles and the fire truck.

An occupant of the second vehicle that was hit at the intersection was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released.

It’s unclear whether there were other people injured in the collision.

The authorities are working to determine the cause of the deadly incident.
