1 Injured in Merced DUI Accident on G Street and 23rd Street
Woman Hurt in Merced Car Crash on G Street and 23rd Street
Merced, California (May 12, 2023) – A woman was injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a suspected DUI driver on Wednesday night in Merced, according to the police.
The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. May 10, on G Street and 23rd Street.
Police said a 2023 Jeep, a 2009 Nissan Altima, and a 2018 Subaru, were traveling northbound on G Street when they were involved in a collision.
The Jeep rolled over following the incident.
The driver of the Jeep, a 29-year-old Merced woman, was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the Subaru, a 45-year-old Merced woman, and her two passengers were not injured.
The driver of the Nissan, 30-year-old Ralph Guerrero of Merced, was arrested and booked into the Merced County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI causing bodily injury, DUI of at least .08 blood-alcohol level causing bodily injury, being in possession of narcotics, and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.
Police are investigating the collision.
