3 Injured in Tigard Car Accident on Highway 99W near Southwest 74th
Tigard, Oregon (May 12, 2023) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Thursday night in Tigard.
According to the Tigard Police Department, the accident happened on southbound Highway 99W near Southwest 74th.
Four cars and a motorcycle were involved in the crash. Authorities believe the crash was caused by an impaired driver.
Two people were seriously injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital.
A third person was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
The suspected DUI driver was taken into custody but charges were not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
