Several People Injured in El Cajon Crash on Highway 94
3 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 94 at Jamacha Road
El Cajon, California (May 26, 2023) – Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 94 in El Cajon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup occurred at around 2:25 p.m. at the intersection with Jamacha Road.
Three vehicles collided for unknown reasons, blocking the intersection.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
The paramedics helped five people who were hurt in the crash. Three patients were taken to the hospital for further treatment of minor injuries and the complaint of pain.
The intersection was cleared, and traffic resumed normal flow at around 3:22 p.m.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
