Stacey Woienski Dies in Sonoma Valley Head-On Collision
Stacey Woienski Killed in Sonoma Valley Accident on Arnold Drive
Sonoma Valley, California (May 17, 2023) – 44-year-old Stacey Woienski resident of El Verano, died Tuesday night in a head-on collision in Sonoma Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Arnold Drive north of Leveroni Road at around 7:25 p.m. on May 16.
Woienski was driving a southbound 2023 Chevy Silverado pickup on Arnold Drive, crossed over the double lines, and collided head-on with a Ford Ranger pickup truck.
Woienski was declared deceased at the crash site.
The Ranger driver, a 32-year-old Sonoma resident, sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The roadway was closed for three hours as police investigated the crash.
Further details regarding the wreck were not provided.
An investigation is underway.
