Woman Injured in San Diego Crash on Midway Drive
San Diego, California (May 16, 2023) – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in the Midway District in San Diego on Sunday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place at around 9:30 p.m. May 14, in the 3500 block of Midway Drive.
Police said a 58-year-old man driving a 2019 Dodge struck a 79-year-old woman after getting distracted by a restaurant sign.
The woman was rushed to a hospital with a laceration to the head and a pelvic fracture.
The driver was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
