Man, 20, Killed in Car Accident at Quail Crossing Boulevard and Old Nogales Highway in Sahuarita ID’d
Sahuarita, Arizona (May 16, 2023) – Tomas Ayala, 20, has been identified as the man who was killed in a car crash early Saturday morning in Sahuarita.
The crash happened near East Quail Crossing Boulevard and South Old Nogales Highway, according to a report by the authorities.
A white Cadillac sedan and a red Ford F150 pickup truck were involved in the collision. The Cadillac reportedly caught fire after the collision.
Ayala was in the Cadillac and was killed in the accident.
Camron Ortega, 24, was in the pickup truck at the time of the accident and fled the scene. Ortega was later found at a local hospital and showed signs of impairment.
Ortega was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
