Rosa Martinez ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Perris Crash on Nandina Avenue
Perris, California (November 13, 2022) – Rosa Martinez, 18, of Moreno Valley, has been identified as the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday evening in Perris, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 6:04 p.m., on November 12, in the 21100 block of Nandina Avenue.
Witnesses told the California Highway Patrol that a gray or silver Honda sedan was speeding at 90 mph when it struck Martinez and flipped over.
Sadly, Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver was seriously injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.

The sedan then flipped after the collision.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the sedan was transported by ambulance to a hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
