1 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision in Hayward
1 Injured in Hayward Car Crash on Interstate 880 near Whipple Road Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (May 16, 2023) – A passenger was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol said.
Three vehicles collided at around 1:43 p.m. on southbound Interstate 880, just north of the Whipple Road off-ramp.
Emergency personnel responded and transported a passenger of one of the cars to the hospital with minor injuries.
The report said a separate traffic crash also occurred in the same area around the same time involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported in that accident.
