1 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision on SR-91 in Long Beach
1 Injured in Long Beach Car Crash on State Route 91 near Cherry Avenue
Long Beach, California (May 20, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle car accident that happened Friday night on State Route 91 in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup was reported at about 9:11 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Cherry Avenue.
Five vehicles were involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel transported one person to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The report said the accident was a hit-and-run, but did not give more details.
Several westbound traffic lanes remained blocked for about an hour during an investigation.
