Andrew Small Dies in Mission Beach Collision on Mission Avenue
Mission Beach, California (November 1, 2022) – Andrew Small, 62, of San Diego, was among three people killed in a crash that took place on Saturday in Mission Beach, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened in the 2900 block of Mission Avenue on Saturday, October 29.
Small was driving a Ford SUV northbound on Mission Avenue at a high rate of speed when he collided head-on with an oncoming Kia SUV.
Andrew was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger in the Ford, Mary Small, 70, of San Diego, was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
A passenger in the Kia, a 59-year-old woman, was also killed in the accident.
Alcohol was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
Further details were not immediately released.
An investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
