Indio, California (November 26, 2020) – One person was injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday morning in Indio, authorities said.

The minor injury accident happened at about 11:20 a.m., on November 25, on westbound Interstate 10.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle crashed into a guardrail on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

One person sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Traffic on the slow lane was temporarily blocked while crews cleared the wreckage.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
