CHP Investigating Car Collision on 80 Freeway in San Francisco
Minor Injuries Sustained in San Francisco Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Treasurer Island On-Ramp
San Francisco, California (December 7, 2022) – Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday night in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident transpired at about 9:43 p.m. on westbound 80 Freeway, just west of the Treasure Island Road on-ramp.
According to CHP, the collision involved a white van and a white sedan. A tire came out of one of the vehicles.
Responding firefighters said minor injuries were sustained in the accident, but did not mention if anyone was hospitalized.
Several lanes were temporarily blocked following the collision.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
