Motorcyclist Sustains Major Injuries in Marin County Accident on Highway 1 and Tomales Petaluma Road
Marin County, California (April 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in Marin County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, April 13 near the intersection of Highway 1 and Tomales Petaluma Road. Highway 1, also known as Shoreline Highway.
As per the CHP report, a Toyota 4Runner collided with a motorcycle for an undetermined reason near the intersection. Another vehicle became involved in the crash.

The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before being transported to a hospital for further treatment. The name and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
It was immediately unclear whether or not the occupants of the two vehicles involved were injured or remained at the scene after the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
