Motorcyclist Hit and Killed by Two Vehicles Near Desert Hot Springs
Rancho Mirage Man Dies in Desert Hot Springs Motorcycle Crash on Indian Canyon Drive
Desert Hot Springs, California (May 22, 2023) – A 22-year-old Rancho Mirage man died after he was rear-ended by a car while riding his motorcycle and then ran over by another vehicle Sunday morning.
The incident happened at around 4:50 a.m. on Indian Canyon Drive south of 14th Avenue between Desert Hot Springs and Palm Springs.
Police said the motorcyclist was, for unknown reasons, hit from the back by a Toyota Corolla and got ejected onto the roadway. A passing Honda Civic then ran over the rider.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating to establish the factors surrounding the collision.
