Fresno County, California (October 28, 2022) – 64-year-old Leslie Boston and 35-year-old Fatimah Rambo have been identified as women killed in a big rig collision on Monday afternoon in Fresno County.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. October 24, near Rusell Avenue and Shields Avenue.

Per the dispatch, a Toyota and a semi-truck crashed at the junction. The Toyota allegedly caused the crash by not yielding at a stop sign.

The two women, all riding in the Toyota, suffered fatal injuries following the accident. The semi-truck driver sustained severe injuries and was hospitalized.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.

2 Killed, 1 Injured in Fresno Car Accident at Russell and Shields Avenues

Fresno, California (October 25, 2022) – Two women were killed in a collision involving a big rig on Monday afternoon in Fresno County.

The fatal crash happened near Russell and Shields Avenues at around 4:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the authorities, Aala A Ahmed, 36, of Livermore was driving a 2020 Toyota Highlander with two female passengers westbound on Shields Avenue approaching the intersection with Russell Avenue when it collided with a 2021 Peterbilt driven by Jagdish Thind, 46, of Marysville, towing two trailers travelling southbound on Russell Avenue.

Two women inside the Toyota were killed in the accident.

Ahmed sustained moderate injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.

The big rig driver was unhurt.

Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
