Contra Costa, California (February 3, 2023) – 44-year-old Kellye Van Patten has been identified as the woman who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Martinez early Wednesday morning.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 4 near Pine Street at around 4:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The San Jose woman was driving a Ford Hatchback when she collided with two SUVs in unclear circumstances.
Van Patten was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The SUV drivers were unhurt.
