Fresno, California (February 23, 2021) – One person was hurt following a Fresno accident Sunday night, a local news source reported.

The suspected hit-and-run pedestrian collision happened on February 21 along Jensen Avenue, just west of South Marks Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol did not establish how a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the Regional Sports Complex shortly after 8:00 p.m.

The victim, whose name was not immediately revealed, sustained unspecified injuries.

Officials shut down eastbound Jensen Avenue for an unknown time.

The CHP is still gathering more evidence to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
