Yuba City, California (December 27, 2022) – 44-year-old Jack Alan Means Jr., of Yuba City, was killed in a head-on collision that happened in Yuba City on Christmas night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 10 p.m. on S George Washington Boulevard near Bogue Road.

Means was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer on the highway when he drifted across the center line and collided head-on with a Ford Mustang driven by an 18-year-old woman.

Means was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman suffered major injuries and was transported to Rideout Hospital before being transferred to UC Davis Medical Center due to her injuries.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
