1 Hospitalized after Rancho Cucamonga Accident on Interstate 15 Freeway near 4th Street
Rancho Cucamonga, California (August 9, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a three-vehicle collision in Rancho Cucamonga Monday morning, August 9.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at about 6:35 a.m. on the Interstate 15 Freeway at the 4th Street off-ramp.
The accident involved a dark grey Honda, a light-colored SUV, and a semi-truck loaded with 9,300 pounds of cheese that crashed on the southbound side of the freeway for undetermined reasons.
Rancho Cucamonga 3-Vehicle Accident
One unidentified person sustained moderate injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.
Officials requested tow trucks to remove all three automobiles away from the crash site.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
