Araceli Osuna Hurt in Fatal Imperial County Crash on Dogwood Road near Ralph Road
Imperial County, California (November 23, 2022) – Araceli Osuna, 54, of Brawley, was injured in a deadly car accident that took place on Sunday afternoon in Imperial County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at around 2:30 p.m. November 20, on Dogwood Road near Ralph Road.
CHP said a 26-year-old Cathedral City man was driving a 2016 Kia Forte south on Dogwood when he went into the northbound side and collided with a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado traveling north.
The Kia was then pushed into a northbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Osuna.
The driver of the Kia was killed in the accident.
Osuna had minor injuries and was rushed to El Centro Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, Fernando Buenrostro, 57, of Brawley, was treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
