CHP Investigating Sacramento Accident on Highway 50 near Highway 99
Sacramento, California (September 29, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on a highway in Sacramento Tuesday morning.
On September 28, at around 10:49 a.m., the CHP received a crash report involving multiple vehicles on Highway 50 near Highway 99.
It was not immediately established how a Caltrans vehicle, a Honda Civic, a semi-truck, and a white Ford van crashed on the highway.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded to the scene and treated all of the people that were involved.
More information about this crash will be released immediately after the CHP completes the investigation.
