Christopher Cassel ID’d s Bicyclist Hit, Killed by Car on Tennyson Road in Hayward
Hayward, California (May 9, 2023) – Christopher Cassel, 29, has been identified as the bicyclist who died after being struck by a car in Hayward on Sunday night.
The fatal bicycle accident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on eastbound Tennyson Road near the Interstate 880 off-ramp.
The Salinas man was riding a bicycle in the area and was struck by a car driven by a 27-year-old man.
Cassel was killed in the accident, according to the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
