Ken Balayev Killed in Los Angeles Accident on 110 Freeway
Los Angeles, California (May 26, 2023) – Ken Balayev, 71, of Calabasas, was killed in a crash early Friday morning in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
The wreck happened on northbound (110) Freeway and Exposition Boulevard at about 2:49 a.m.
According to the report, a black Chevy Cruze was traveling south in the northbound lanes when it collided with an oncoming taxi driven by Balayev.
The crash left Balayev dead while his passenger was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Cruze, Samantha Molina, 23, and a female passenger in her vehicle, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Authorities said Molina was later arrested following the incident.
The crash remained under investigation.
