Benjamin Lobbins Killed in Lancaster Accident on Avenue K and Sixth Street East
Lancaster, California (May 14, 2023) – Benjamin Lobbins, 31, has been identified as the man who was killed in a suspected DUI collision in Lancaster on Thursday evening, according to the coroner’s office.
The wreck was reported at around 5:15 p.m. May 11, on Avenue K at Sixth Street East.
Authorities said Lobbins was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Avenue K when he collided with a Lincoln Zephyr that made a left turn in front of him at the intersection.
Lobbins was killed in the collision.
The driver of the car was arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated following the incident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
