Man and Woman Killed in Fresno County Crash at East North Avenue and De Wolf Avenue
Fresno County, California (December 10, 2022) – A man and a woman were killed in a Saturday afternoon freight truck accident in Fresno County, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:30 p.m. at East North Avenue and De Wolf Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the freight truck was traveling eastbound on North Avenue, and a Nissan Altima was stopped at DeWolf Avenue.
For unknown reasons, the Altima driver pulled out in front of the freight truck, which did not have a stop sign. Unfortunately, the two vehicles collided.
Sadly, a man and a woman in the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
